Ramgarhia Educational Council (REC), Phagwara is a registered body. It is managing more than a dozen schools and colleges since 1929 under the able guidance of Late President S. Mohan Singh Hadiabadi. All the institutions have made a spectacular progress under his dynamic leadership. He was succeeded by Late S. Mela Singh Bhogal in 1964 who continued his progressive works in various capacities. He was a pioneer in the starting of various women educational institutes in Phagwara. Late Sh. Pritam Singh Bhogal, become President cum chairman of Ramgarhia Educational Council in 1977.
